About the Artist

Hello!

I'm Jamie Walsh, I'm a 2D animator and illustrator from the UK, currently located in Leeds.

I have done work for Kilogramme (Manchester), Fourth Wall (Liverpool) on the first season of 'Milo' (Milkshake), the BBC, the NHS and the University of Central Lancashire, where I studied BA Hons Animation and graduated with a First Class Honours in June 2020.

During my studies, both my second year film 'Tia' and third year film 'Last Week' won awards at the North West Royal Television Society, and both being nominated at the London RTS awards 2020 and 2021 respectively.

I have a passion for illustration and cinematography that inspires my love for crafting environments, characters, and bringing them to life through animation. I am a flexible and speedy animator who loves experimenting with all sorts of styles and methods - pushing the capabilities of digital art and animation to its absolute limits.
